Project: Geographic Information System (GIS)

Implementation and putting GIS system (based on ESRI and SynerGIS technologies) into routine operation. GIS makes internal ŽSD data accessible for employees in the Intranet network, it arranges for the promotion of this county by means of the Internet, and simplifies access to spatial information. The Žilina region, as the first self-administrative county in the SR, had its functional GIS system accessible for its citizens via the Internet.
